Have you ever had a food that was so delicious, it ruined the rest of that food for you? Welcome to the World Famous Gus's Fried Chicken. It is places like this truly challenge my lifelong aspiration to one day become a vegetarian. This chicken is unbelievably juicy and crispy and flavorful and now I can't enjoy Popeye's the same way anymore. The two times we went our waiters were nice but not creepy chick-fil-a nice which is always appreciated.

Gus's Fried Chicken has locations all across the U.S., originating from Memphis Tennessee with a family recipe that is straight up addicting. I ordered the two-piece with a side of mac n cheese and potato salad. Let me just say, if you are gonna eat here where your stretchy pants.

I'm no fried chicken aficionado but I will vouch for this as the best I've had so far. In comparison to the commercial places nearby, this is truly a chicken phenomenon. The passion in this plate is undeniable. If you check it out let me know what you order and how you liked it!
