My Spiritual Healing Starter Kit

I’m fairly knew to the spiritual healing life. I’ve always known that I felt a strong connection with a higher force but it wasn’t until recently that I came to learn that force is within me. My effort in evolving, my awareness in growing and my strength to push through dark times. All come from my inner spirit that will ultimately tap into a greater force beyond me. I’ve meditated, practiced yoga, prayed, written poetry, and even sat with chanting buddhists to experience a spiritual awakening. But through the years I have come to do what feels right and I find that through a number of calming practices, I can find a healthy state of sustainable peace. Below are some of the tools I use to achieve that.

  • Candles, are a must; I need my candles to set the healing mood as a signal to wind down or wake up. I love getting my candles at everyone’s favorite gentrified healing store, House of Intuition. Their tall intention candles have healing stones at the bottom so when you finish your candle, you get a few healing stone to remember the journey. It’s pretty cool and I enjoy really channeling my energy into those stones each time I light the candle. They also smell amazing but really just buy them anywhere you like because they’re a cheap way to change the energy in your space.

  • I bought my little diffusor at Michaels. It’s not really that cute and I have about a quarter of a bottle left of lavender for it, but it does the job. It has lights and automatically turns off when the water runs out. I love using it in the morning with some citrus oils and in the evening with lavender or eucalyptus. This was the first purchase I made to actively improve the energy in my room. It was the spark of me creating my morning routines and now that I think about it, a pivotal competent in my mental development. Wow what essential oils can do.

  • While I never understood the benefits of a Himalayan Salt Lamp, I was luckily gifted one from one of my dad’s coworkers. Thanks Cindy!. These lamps have become a phenomenon all of a sudden, all over people’s offices and living rooms. They are supposed to purify the air, ease asthma and promote sleep. I just like the calming light and think it looks pretty. To make sure you have a real lamp check the bottom to see if it’s made in the Himalayas if not, just make sure its big heavy.

  • Incense can be a tricky subject depending on your living situation. I use to burn sage but now I enjoy using palo santo. Both not incenses but rather sacred healing sticks. Sage and Palo Santo are to be used wisely and intently. Despite mine being sourced ethically, I tend to feel guilty knowing I am not a spiritual healer. However, I use them to cleanse the energy in my room and crystals. If you are on the fence I simply suggest using incense to shift the energy in the room and put yourself in that healing state.

  • I am new to crystals, after reading Wheels of Life, I learned more about crystal healing power and started to research how they work. The way I understood it, was to align your chakras. Each chakra has a color and if you are blocked or deficient in that area, crystals can help you find balance. I have and medium sized amethyst stone to protect from negative energy and a rose quartz to promote unconditional love. If you study them enough you will find ones that work for you.

Comment below different ways you self help and bring yourself back to peace. Let me know if any of thees tools help and which ones you used.
