Award-Winning Pizza at 786 Degrees

Eat

While I reminisced the Roman style cooking of Triple Beam Pizza, I recently found a new pizza obsession at 786 Degrees. Wood-fired pizza "that serves Italian cuisine graced with Indian and Mediterranean herbs and spices." Their world-renowned flavors that have won national competitions for the past 8 years featured on almost every major news network. This little shop in Sun Valley transports you to Italy, where chefs live to cook and embrace every detail of their hand made recipes. When you walk in, Italian music plays in the background and a nice hostess greets you at the register. For your first visit, you get a breakdown of the menu and they explain how the pizzas have no substitutions. Each pizza is made specifically to ensure the taste is right every time.

If you are looking for a regular pepperoni, The Slum Dog is the closest thing. However, you are there to experience the array of flavors that this pizza shop has to offer. The award-winning "Bombay Tikka Masala" is a mind-blowing explosion of flavor in every bite. At first, I was afraid it was going to taste like curry, but the toppings are a perfect combination of Tandoor chicken, grilled onions and precisely chosen fresh cilantro. It's then topped with a signature saffron sauce that is just to die for. Like if you're still reading this stop and go eat this pizza.

I also tried "El Chapo," their take on Mexican beef chorizo that is killer. It's spicy and should definitely be on your list to try. I can't wait to go back and try their award-winning Shrimp Tuscany. If you decide to check the place, comment below which pizza you tried and if you recommend it.
